Publishing your Scratch projects on other websites

If you have your own website and want to publish your project there here are some guidelines on how to do it.

  1. Share your project on the Scratch website by clicking the Share! button in the Scratch authoring environment.
  2. Go to your project page, for example: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/andresmh/55284
  3. Click on the Embed link in the "Link to this project" section.
  4. ./embed.JPG

  5. Copy the HTML code from the corresponding text field and paste it onto the HTML code of your website. The first one, titled "As an image" is useful when you have little control over the HTML of your website (e.g. MySpace) which will be displayed as a thumbnail with a link to your project. The second, titled "As an applet", is useful when you have more control of the HTML of your website or in some blogs such as blogspot where you can embed Java applets.
